Tackling in der falschen Sportart
Tackling gehört zum American Football wie Homeruns zum Baseball, doch hier hat sich der Spieler eindeutig vertan. Der Catcher auf diesem Bild geht mit vollem Körpereinsatz auf seinen Gegenspieler los und bringt ihn gekonnt aus dem Gleichgewicht, als würden sie Football spielen. Dass der Baseballspieler damit nicht gerechnet hat, zeigt sein überraschter Gesichtsausdruck, noch während er fällt.
Ob das ein geplanter Spielzug oder ein spontaner Reflex war, bleibt fraglich. Eins ist jedoch sicher. Diese Art von Spielzug hat auf dem Baseballfeld nichts verloren und brachte ihm möglicherweise sogar ein Foul ein, auch wenn es als Einsatz für das Spiel angesehen werden könnte.
