Kristy McNichol è un tuttofare. È un’attrice, cantante, produttrice e persino una comica. Kristy è conosciuta per i suoi ruoli in Little Darlings nei panni di Angel e Polly in Only When I Laugh. Era anche in una sitcom televisiva, Empty Nest nel ruolo di Barbara Weston. Ha iniziato a recitare nel 1970 e ha vinto due Emmy Awards per il film drammatico Family come Letitia “Buddy” Lawrence.
