Tara Elders greep haar kans om te stralen als acteur in ‘Vroeger bestaat niet meer’, waarmee ze succes boekte ondanks dat ze later veel bijrollen en figurantenrollen in verschillende series speelde. Haar ware doorbraak kwam met ‘Costa!’. Na dit succes besloot Tara om zich op het moederschap te richten, na de geboorte van haar eerste dochter met Michiel Huisman.
