Iconic Celebrity Dresses – Their Fashion Designer Did A Brilliant Job For Them
Lily James – Cinderella Gown – Price Unknown
Lily James made a fortune by playing Cinderella in the self-titled 2015 film, but this came both with pros and with cons. Cinderella’s majestic dress was designed by Sandy Powell, who claimed that it required dozens of hours before it was eventually ready. In the end, it looked staggering on screen, but James had something to confess. James admitted that playing in the movie was a wonderful experience, but she stated that the gown was so tight that wearing it had caused her a lot of pain. All ended well for James though, who became much more famous after the movie (partly, because of that gown!).
