So lange Lexi denken konnte, hatte sie sich in ihrer Haut nie wirklich wohlgefühlt. Schon in ihrer Kindheit hatten die Probleme mit ihrem Gewicht angefangen. Aber jetzt war sie endlich da, wo sie immer sein wollte. Sie genoss ihr Leben in vollen Zügen und war dankbar für die Möglichkeiten, die sich ihr nun boten.
Lexi hatte selbst zu dem Zeitpunkt nicht unter Selbsthass gelitten, als sie fast 250 Kilo wog. Sie war eine positive Person und akzeptierte sich und andere so, wie sie waren. Aber natürlich brachte starkes Übergewicht eine Reihe von Problemen mit sich, und Lexi führte jetzt, im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes, ein viel leichteres Leben.
