おニャン子クラブに1986年メンバー入り。生稲晃子、工藤静香と共にユニット「うしろ髪ひかれ隊」を結成しました。うしろ髪の妹分ユニットとして、AKB48の派生ユニット『渡り廊下走り隊』が活躍しています。現在斉藤満喜子さんは引退しており、おニャン子の再結成イベントには一度も参加していません。
