Joe fue un actor, locutor y comediante, muy conocido por ser el reemplazo de Mel Blanc en WB. Alaskey tenía una voz asombrosa, el interpretaba la voz original de diferentes dibujos animados de Warner Bros. Entre los cuales se encuentran: Bugs Bunny, el Pato Lucas, Elmer Gruñón, Silvestre, Piolin y otros personajes muy queridos de la década de los 80 y 90. También dio vida a las voces de Sam Bigote y el Gallo Claudio en ¿Quién engañó a Roger Rabbit? Incluso, tuvo un papel principal en una película Lucky Stiff. Este actor cómico murió de cáncer en el 2016 cuando tenía 63 años.
