Mi Discurso
Cada noche yo soñaba el discurso que daría cuando la gente estuviera reunida en casa. Primero esperaría que llegaran todos, luego serviría el servicio de lunch mientras la gente conversaba y en el momento del postre, yo me pararía frente a todos y pediría la palabra. Todos esperarían escuchar unas palabras con respecto a mi cumple.
Pero en realidad, yo comenzaría a hablar sobre mi vida y contaría toda la verdad, para gran sorpresa de todos. Preparé mi discurso minuciosamente, cuidando cada palabra y esperando que cada situación contada dejara una huella. Repetía en mi mente cada frase, cada pausa y cada entonación, diciéndolo casi de memoria.
