Lawrence Robert Shreve AKA Abdullah the Butcher – 78
Known for his bloody and violent matches, Lawrence Robert Shreve wrestled under the stage name Abdulah the Butcher. Lawrence is 77 but is not completely retired from the sport. He established himself as one of the most feared wrestlers who broke the rules. He would even cut wrestlers without consent which was why some of them contracted hepatitis C and sued Abdulah. Abdulah still wrestles occasionally and in 2011, he became a mentor and advisor to a wrestler who goes by the name The Congo Warrior. It was announced on October 20, 2018, that Abdulah’s retirement ceremony will be held in February 2019.
