Ronald Simmons AKA Ron Simmons – Age 61
Before entering the ring in 1987, Ronald had a brief career in NFL where he played for Cleveland Browns from 1981 to 1982 and for Tampa Bay Bandits from 1983 to 1985. In his long spanning wrestling career, he wrestled for multiple promotions. With ECW and WCW, he performed under his real name but when he joined WWF/WWE, he started performing under the ring name Faarooq Assad. With WWE, he became the first black World Champion in the history of pro wrestling. He won multiple championships and was finally inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012.
