Lichter, Kamera, Cannabis: Charlo Greenes Ausstieg im Live-TV
In einer dramatischen Wendung der Ereignisse verabschiedete sich Charlo Greene, eine ehemalige Nachrichtensprecherin von KTVA in Anchorage, Alaska, während einer Live-Übertragung von ihrer Fernsehkarriere. Während sie über den rechtlichen Status von Cannabis berichtete, platzte sie mit einer Bombe: Sie war die Besitzerin des Alaska Cannabis Club und wollte künftig all ihre Zeit der Förderung dieser Sache widmen.
Es schien das Ende ihrer Karriere als Nachrichtensprecherin zu sein, doch statt in der Bedeutungslosigkeit zu verschwinden, nahm Charlo ihre Leidenschaft für die Cannabis-Advocacy auf und fand schließlich eine neue berufliche Heimat als Gastgeberin der „The Weed Show“ in Los Angeles.
