Joy Behar – Born in 1942
You might know Joy Behar as a charismatic television host and a famous comedian, but did you know before venturing into showbiz, she was a teacher of English? The star taught the language for close to a decade up to the 1970s before opting to go to acting school, a move that has paid massive dividends.
Since her onscreen debut in 1984, Behar has appeared in numerous films, television shows, and theater plays, with her performances winning her rave reviews from fans and critics alike. Despite being in the pressure-filled Hollywood business for over three decades, ‘The View’ panelist is still going strong, and it wouldn’t be surprising if she went on a comedy tour soon.
