Alexis Bledel – Scouted At A Local Shopping Mall
Most of you probably know actress Alexis Bledel for her starring role as Rory Gilmore in the hit show, Gilmore Girls. She was first scouted at a young age when she was walking in a local shopping mall. She was given modeling jobs and she eventually spent a year studying at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her first major audition was for Gilmore Girls and she reportedly even had the flu during the audition. Luckily, she impressed the directors and was cast for the lead role. Bledel currently appears on The Handmaid’s Tale and has an upcoming movie called Crypto.

Peter Dinklage – Wouldn’t Settle For An Office Job
After graduating in the early 1990s, Peter Dinklage was living a life close to bankruptcy and he couldn’t even afford to pay rent. He later started working as an employee at a data processing company. Still, he felt like an office job was not really meant for him so he quit and pursued acting. He struggled at first because he wanted to book roles that were normal and not really meant for his size. His first acting role was on Living in Oblivion but he only became a star when he appeared on The Station Agent. Dinklage continues to appear in the popular show, Game of Thrones.
