Sons of Anarchy, Sleepy Hollow und Blue Bloods, waren die Shows, die ihn am beliebtesten machten. Howell hat sich auch hinter die Kulissen gewagt, um als Regisseur und Produzent zu arbeiten. Er wird derzeit in einem neuen Film namens Dauntless auftreten.
