Instead of buying the jet, the Where Have You Been singer chose to rent it instead—which probably made her financial advisor sigh in relief. Traveling with 150 journalists, the ambitious tour concluded with a No. 1 album for the 31-year-old Barbadian music star, which made the $300-million expense seem like a sound investment.
