Tom Cruise – Rasierter Kopf, Prothesenhaar & Fettanzug
Tom Cruise musste am Set von Stillers Tropic Thunder auf sein wunderschönes Haar verzichten und sich einer Glatze unterziehen, um Les Grossman darzustellen. Es wurde gemunkelt, dass er einen Fettanzug trug, anstatt sich einer Diät zur Gewichtszunahme zu unterwerfen. Sein Charakter zieht auch mit seinem vergossenen Mund und seinen behaarten Fingern die Aufmerksamkeit auf sich. Nach mehreren ernsthaften Rollen waren wir eigentlich froh, Tom in seiner albernen und humorvollen Ausgabe zu sehen. Vor Tropic Thunder, Cruise’ einziger Semi-Comic-Rolle war die Cameo, die er in Austin Powers in Goldmember machte.
