Al Green, 73 – Preacher
Al Green’s soulful music brought him fame – his signature single is Let’s Stay Together, a song that is still a popular classic. The success of the single helped boost Green to the point that he reached the 14th position in the ranking of ‘100 Greatest Singers Ever’. It was at the age of 70 that Green quit his career in music and took up preaching in Memphis. However, in September 2018, Green released a new recording called Before the Next Teardrop Falls. Despite a savings account as healthy as his, why not make a few while he spreads God’s word?
