CELEBRITIES WHO CHOSE TO HAVE NORMAL JOBS AND SETTLED FOR A QUIET LIFE
Elizabeth Berkley, 47 — Animal Rights Activist
Elizabeth Berkley Lauren is an actress who has performed in some noteworthy roles during her career. She played ‘Nomi Malone’ on Showgirls and Saved By the Bell wouldn’t have been the same without her character delivery in the role as ‘Jessie Spano.’ These days, Berkley is a popular activist for animal rights, but she’s been an activist for a long time. In 1997, she donned form-fitting clothing made from collard greens! To have that outfit would cost you $600 and she wore it for the Lettuce Le Bean campaign sponsored by PETA. In 2008 and in 2009, Lauren was included in an online poll of the Most Beautiful Vegetarian of the Year.
