Mudando de uma estrela infantil para outra, Mickey Kuhn era um nome conhecido em Hollywood como uma estrela infantil no final dos anos 30 e 40. As pessoas ainda se lembram dele de Gone With the Wind,onde ele interpretou Beau Wilkes, também Red River e A Streetcar Named Desire foram os dois filmes mais aclamados que ele apareceu. Kuhn deixou de atuar nos anos 50, pois ser uma estrela não era algo que se adequava a ele como pessoa. Ele agora mora na Flórida, trabalhando em seu hospital local como voluntário várias vezes por semana.
