Lisa é conhecida por seu papel como Denise Huxtable no The Cosby Show, que foi de 1984 a 1992. Sua beleza a fez participar de concursos de beleza e aparecer em vários programas de televisão. Lisa tocou em Um mundo diferente, mas decidiu deixar o show quando estava grávida. Lisa então continuou a tocar no Cosby Show antes de partir com base em opiniões diferentes.
